Health careers education programs operate at the high school and adult levels to achieve the goals and purposes as follows:

  • Implementation of standards-based curriculum

Enables students to make career decisions consistent with their aptitudes, interests, abilities, and academic achievement. Provides a program of instruction that prepares students for postsecondary education and for employment. Enables more students to achieve higher levels of academic and career preparation. Provides added relevancy and meaning to the students’ educational learning from kindergarten through career. Eliminates the need for remediation for students in the health careers program who wish to enter postsecondary education or employment.

  • ANDERSON UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT

    The Anderson Union High School District is nestled in one of the most scenic and nature-filled regions in California. The District consists of the communities of Cottonwood, Happy Valley and the City of Anderson. While we are a smaller district, approximately 1900 students, we strive everyday to give our students the tools necessary to be successful in the world that awaits them.

  • Corning High School

    Corning Union High School is one of three public high schools in the county. CUHS was established in 1897. The original buildings were replaced in 1960. In 1999-2000, five permanent structure wings were modernized to accommodate increased enrollment. Construction was completed in 2001 on a 10-classroom building, gymnasium, cafeteria, multipurpose room, Library Media Center with adjoining Career Center and music complex.

    Red Bluff High School is a public school in Red Bluff, California The institution offers courses from the ninth grade school to the twelfth grade and is a member of the Red Bluff Joint Union High School District. The campus is located at 1260 Union Street in Red Bluff.

  • Shasta Union High School District

    The Shasta Union High School District was established in 1899. The District offices are located at the site of the 1927 Shasta Union High School. This historical building was constructed after the original school was outgrown. Currently named the Shasta Learning Center, this site houses various high school programs, one of our two charter schools and the David Marr Auditorium, used widely by all our schools and the community.   • SHASTA-TRINITY ROP

    ROP offers a wealth of opportunities for career exploration and training. A state-funded program, ROP is FREE to high school students who earn both high school credits and valuable work experience.
